If you sent the wrong amount or too late

What happens when a different amount arrives, or your coins arrive after the time limit, and what you can do.

4 stepsReading time: about 3 minutes

Step by step

  1. Step 1 See what arrived

Your swap's page shows the amount that arrived and the amount the swap expected, or that the time limit had passed.

A swap whose deposit doesn't match, with the amount that arrived and the amount expected.
  2. Step 2 Don't send the difference

A second payment doesn't fix the first one, and it can make the swap harder to sort out.

  3. Step 3 Let the partner decide, or contact it

The partner's terms decide what happens: some partners swap what arrived at the current rate, others ask whether to continue or take a refund. Use the button on your swap's page to contact the partner with its swap ID.

  4. Step 4 Ask us if you're unsure

Tap “Contact support” on your swap's page; your swap ID is filled in. We help you reach the partner and understand its answer.

If you sent a different coin or used another network

Don't send more. Send us a support request with your swap ID, the transaction ID, and the coin and network you used.
